STILL IN HAMILTON!!

Yesterday evening the Captain came on PA and said that due to the strong winds it would be to dangerous to try to enter the cove and dock in St George this morning as planned so we spent another night in Hamilton.  St George is on other end of Bermuda and only 20 miles from where we are now.  Seemed silly to me to even plan to move the ship.  Most all the excursions planned for today in St George are going as planned.  We had planned to go on the "Crystal Caves & Tuckers Town Drive" excursion but decided against it and went up to the gym instead.
At 2:00 pm we will cast off and depart Bermuda for our next stop, Charleston, SC.  We are scheduled to arrive there in about 2 days, 1:00 pm on Friday.  Charleston is basically 1000 miles due west of here.  Kind of hate to leave beautiful, Bermuda.  At about noon it is a mostly sunny 73 degrees and wind not as bad today.  Just checked the weather satellite on internet and appears we will be going through a frontal system that just left the east coast of the US.
We had reservations again for tonight in Prime 7 (steakhouse) but gave it up as we wanted to dine up in Sette Mari (the Italian restaurant).  I could eat Italian food every day of the year!  Not to worry though as Goran made another Prime 7 reservation for us for Friday night.  This morning we received an invitation to dine tomorrow night with the Captain and Lucy (lead dancer).  We are going to turn down the invitation however as have already made plans to dine with Alan & Nathan, our dancer friends.
It's now 3:30 and we have been sailing for 1 1/2 hours.  The water is still a very beautiful turquoise color indicating to me that we are still in fairly shallow waters.  We're passing buoys and I see patches of reef so are in a channel leading out to the open Atlantic.  We just finished watch the movie, "American Hustle" and Rebecca is now watching, "Dallas Buyers Club".  Think I will go sit out of balcony and enjoy the view.
                                                                Sailing into Bermuda
The water was very beautiful.  Some turquoise, blue, green, and dark blue due to coral or sandy bottom.
Entering the protected bay near Hamilton, the capitol.

Can't imagine how much this house must cost.

The tug would later help the ship turn around and dock.

Straight ahead is where we docked.  Right in the city center.

This is "Front Street".  Our ship is on this side of the street.

Our veal parmesan dinner with Goran.
Our friend, Nathan, on the left.  A super talented dancer and singer as well.

White roofes are llimestone coated which purifies the rain water which is caught and used by the family living there.

This is our taxi driver and guide, Earl.  He was quite a character and excellent guide.  There were only 3 couples per vehicle.
