TWO POSTS TODAY--WED & THURS
I forgot to publish yesterday's posting make sure you read two today. HOLD ON!!!!! We hit some pretty big swells about 2:00 am when we ran into that front I mentioned seeing on internet satellite yesterday. The ship was really moving about and making lots of creaking noises last night and still this morning at 9:00. It is overcast with occasional rain showers. Ocean does not look that bad but swells are hard to see normally. Rebecca may have a hard time staying on the treadmill today.
So what is our plan for today? We just finished breakfast in our suite and now reading the Dallas Morning News. At 11 am the dancers are giving a talk and back stage tour in the showroom. We have a guest lecturer on board speaking topic today is "Captain Jack Sparrow-Reality or Fantasy?" That is in the showroom at 10 am but it will be televised rest of the day so will watch her at our leisure. This afternoon we will watch a couple more recently released movies on our tv.
At 6 pm there is a party for Seven Seas Society members (once again that is Regent's version of frequent flyer program). The Captain is hosting it so we will have to explain why we turned down his invitation to join him for dinner tonight. We found out last night when talking to the Restaurant Manager that the Captain had specifically asked for us. Unfortunately, we already had dinner plans with Alan & Nathan. The satellite connection is coming and going today so will go ahead and publish this. Hoping that the weather will improve as we proceed due west towards Charleston. Will be anxious to hear what the Captain has to say during his noon PA about weather forecast.
